Gray studied Jewelry and Metals at Pratt Institute while apprenticing with independent studios Emily Amey, Giles and Brother by Philip Crangi and Alexis Bittar, next designing fashion jewelry for both private label and commercial brands. Pursuing an intrinsic need to make by hand, Gray founded her personal collection in 2012, sharpening her technical craft until relaunching fine under her namesake in 2017.
Lindley has been designing on a freelance basis since 2010, working with companies from Madewell and Stella and Dot to niche, independent private label jewelry brands. Her strengths lie in ideation and product development, material sourcing and production processes. She extracts and develops the authentic vision of each client, providing insight and perspective through her academic and personal study of jewelry history and experience within the industry.
