Lindley Gray is an independent fine jewelry artist born in Texas and based in Philadelphia, PA.

 

Gray studied Jewelry and Metals at Pratt Institute while apprenticing with independent studios Emily Amey,  Giles and Brother by Philip Crangi and Alexis Bittar, next designing fashion jewelry for commercial brands like Madewell and Stella and Dot. Pursuing an intrinsic need to make by hand, Gray founded her personal collection in 2012, sharpening her technical craft until relaunching fine under her namesake in 2017. 

 

Using a combination of traditional goldsmithing techniques and lost wax casting, she is inspired by jewelry and textile history, Art Deco design and the integrity of natural precious and semiprecious gems. Her pieces give presence to both solidity and delicacy, with geometric details, pared down silhouttes, a concise color palette and seamless settings meant to last through generations.

All pieces feature 100% post-consumer recycled gold and natural, high quality gemstones with ethical origins and applicable GIA certifications. Many gems used within the collections are custom cut, allowing for direct rough sourcing through trusted vendors. Committed to a low impact on the environment, each piece is made to order, using as little chemical and material waste as possible.
